Steak-Spiced Medallions Recipe

Tender, juicy medallions pan-seared and seasoned with Dion Western Steak Spices. A simple, flavourful classic to share with family.
- 750 g (1 ยฝ lb) thick medallions, about 2.5 cm (1 in) thick, or steak cuts
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) butter
- Western Steak Spices, to taste
- Remove the meat from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking.
- In a heavy stainless-steel skillet, heat over medium-high. Add the olive oil and butter.
- Place the medallions in the pan and cook for about 6 minutes per side for medium doneness. While cooking, baste the medallions with the pan drippings.
- Season both sides with Dion Steak Spice.
- Remove the medallions, cover with aluminum foil, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
