Smooth, spiced pumpkin pie made with Dion Pumpkin Pie Spice. A cozy fall classic that’s as comforting as it is easy to make.

  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • 2 cups (500 ml) pumpkin purée
  • ½ cup (125 ml) brown sugar
  • ½ cup (125 ml) 35% cream
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Dion Pumpkin Pie Spice
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Thaw the pie crust for about 10 minutes, then prick the bottom with a fork.
  3. Bake on the lower oven rack for 10 minutes. Remove and place the crust on a baking sheet.
  4. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (180°C).
  5. In a large bowl, mix together the spices, cream, eggs, brown sugar, and pumpkin purée until smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture into the pre-baked crust.
  7. Bake on the middle rack for about 40 minutes, or until the center is set.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

 

Tip: Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful finish.
