Electromechanic
Under the supervision of the Plant Management, the Electromechanic ensures the proper operation of production equipment by performing corrective and preventive maintenance, in compliance with quality and health & safety standards.
The company is currently located in Saint-Jérôme. A relocation to Terrebonne is planned for the end of March.
Responsibilities
• Ensure the proper operation of equipment by performing diagnostics, repairs, and necessary interventions;
• Respond to service calls, prioritize requests, and act quickly during production stoppages;
• Perform preventive maintenance according to the established schedule and complete required documentation (work orders, logs);
• Participate in machine setup and adjustments in collaboration with operators;
• Coordinate external service providers’ interventions and ensure proper follow-ups;
• Manage purchase requisitions and spare parts inventory;
• Comply with and apply quality standards (SQF), internal procedures, and occupational health and safety regulations;
• Perform any other related tasks to support the maintenance department’s operations.
Requirements
• DEP, AEC, or DEC in Industrial Mechanics or Electromechanics;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the food industry;
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
