Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a key individual who wIll act as the right-hand to the Plant Director, actively engage in operations, and participate in various continuous improvement projects within the plant.

The position will start at the Saint-Jérôme plant, and following the planned relocation of the plant at the end of March, the workplace will move to Terrebonne.

Roles and Responsibilities

Operations

• Verify and ensure the accuracy of production data
• Compile and analyze departmental data
• Produce, validate, and distribute KPIs (daily/weekly)
• Manage inventory movements (production, purchasing, returns)
• Initiate cycle counts and analyze variances
• Support the Plant Director in health & safety follow-ups, continuous improvement, and 5S practices

Purchasing

• Validate inventory needs based on production requirements
• Prepare and track purchase orders
• Coordinate imports and transportation, as needed
• Identify and qualify new suppliers
• Follow up on merchandise returns and receipts

Administration

• Draft internal communications and corporate documents
• Create and maintain presentation materials and system records
• Participate in document reviews
• Provide administrative support to various departments

IT / Systems

• Act as the go-to person for IT systems and equipment
• Manage and maintain databases
• Serve as superuser for Companion Office, Route, and NiceLabel systems
• Participate in the implementation of the server and ERP system

Other

• Participate in various cross-functional projects
• Perform any other operations-related tasks as required

Requirements and Skills

• DEP or DEC in office administration, or at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Highly organized and methodical approach to tasks
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and suppliers
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Bilingualism is an asset
