Pumpkin Pie

Smooth, spiced pumpkin pie made with Dion Pumpkin Pie Spice. A cozy fall classic that’s as comforting as it is easy to make.
- 1 unbaked pie crust
- 2 cups (500 ml) pumpkin purée
- ½ cup (125 ml) brown sugar
- ½ cup (125 ml) 35% cream
- 2 eggs
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) Dion Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Thaw the pie crust for about 10 minutes, then prick the bottom with a fork.
- Bake on the lower oven rack for 10 minutes. Remove and place the crust on a baking sheet.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (180°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the spices, cream, eggs, brown sugar, and pumpkin purée until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the pre-baked crust.
- Bake on the middle rack for about 40 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Tip: Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful finish.
