In 1996, Gaston Dion grew tired of a spice market that felt dull and conservative. As a passionate cook, always in search of new tastes, he found only conventional products. He then decided to found Dion Herbs & Spices with a clear goal: to surprise consumers and spark their culinary curiosity.
The adventure began with an innovative container, designed both to stand out and to preserve the full richness of flavors. This unique concept marked the beginning of a product line that has since grown to 5 categories totaling more than 350 varieties.
Today, Dion is one of the largest sellers of herbs and spices in Canada, offering the widest range of products available at over 1,300 retailers across Canada and the United States.
